Position: Store Person Location: Quedgeley Type of role: 6-month contract Salary: £25000 to £30000 per annum Working hours: Monday-Thursday 07:15-15:15 Friday 07:15-12:15. We are now seeking to recruit a Store Person in Quedgeley, this is a 6 months fixed term opportunity for the suitable store person. Responsibilities: Carry out receipt and issues for goods going into out of the stores Maintain material traceability as stated in Quality system Responsible for stock control within the stores Cutting of stock materials Dispatch – Spares orders Identify each day’s workload along with forward loading requirements if possible Carry out pre-picks as stated on BOM/spare sheets Carry out cutting of stock material as required (BOM). Goods dispatch carry out packaging of valve spares in line with customer requirements as stated on the order/contract review Ensure that all documentation that is required on the order is dispatch with the goods Identification of stock shortages Maintain and control storage of live jobs prior to repair/Build or dispatch Maintain a good level of general housekeeping within the stores and dispatch area. Buying of workshop consumables and maintain a reasonable stock level as agreed with Production Co-Ordinator Cycle stock count, physical identification of low stock levels Requkirements: Must have FLT License and experience operating overhead crane. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organisation. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardised situations. Basic knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
