About the Role: As a Learning Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing personalised support to young adults within this residential and educational setting. You'll help them develop essential life skills, build independence, and engage in meaningful learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one and group support to young adults with neurological conditions. Assisting with the implementation of individual learning and support plans. Supporting young adults to develop independent living skills, such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care. Facilitating engaging and stimulating activities, both on and off-site. Building positive and supportive relationships with young adults and their families. Maintaining accurate records and contributing to team meetings. Supporting students in educational settings. Promoting a safe and inclusive environment. About You: They're looking for individuals who: Have a genuine passion for working with young adults with complex needs. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Are patient, empathetic, and resilient. Are able to work effectively as part of a team. Have a positive and proactive attitude. Are willing to learn and develop their skills. Have experience working with young adults with neurological conditions or learning disabilities (desirable).
