Responsible to: Supported Housing Manager.
Location: Wytham Hall and properties, Maida Vale, London.
Salary: £35,000 gross per annum.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week, within office hours 9am to 5pm. No shift work.

ABOUT THE SERVICE
Wytham Hall in North Westminster is a small 25-bed supported housing charity which provides support and accommodation for people with a history of homelessness, with the aim of enabling them to return to a settled life.
Residents typically have low to medium level needs and are abstinent from alcohol and drugs.
Wytham Hall is run with a resident-first approach where the needs of the resident are placed at the heart of their support and progress.
Our aim is to understand well the needs of our residents and to offer appropriately tailored support to address this need in a safe and progressive environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join a small and friendly team to make a real difference to our charity and to the lives of our residents.
You will assist and deputise for the supported housing manager to ensure a quality service is delivered to its residents and the smooth running of the charity.
You will be a vital part in developing the service, helping to provide solutions and ideas to help with the day-to-day running and future of the service.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Assist the supported housing manager to:
1. Manage a busy small office.
2. Manage referrals and conduct informal visits and assessments.
3. Oversee day-to-day property management.
4. Arrange and oversee supply contracts and contractor visits.
5. Provide staff support and training.
6. Oversee team meetings.
7. Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
8. Complete strategic long- and short-term planning.
9. Co-ordinate opportunities for resident involvement e.g. workshops.
10. Liaise with external agencies.
11. Oversee donations and fundraising development.
12. Oversee rent payments and reviews.
13. Manage a small budget.
14. Ensure statutory compliance e.g. GDPR.
15. Produce statistics and reports for a variety of stakeholders.
16. Produce promotional material and organise events.
17. Produce Westminster City Council quarterly returns.
18. Manage a Westminster City Council (Supporting People) contract.
19. Oversee client safeguarding and welfare.
20. Oversee ad hoc legal and insurance work e.g. claims.
Individual responsibility:
1. Provide key working to residents.
2. Attendance at and preparation for trustee meetings.
3. Liaise with Westminster City Council (Supporting People).
4. Oversee building or other projects.
5. Perform any reasonable duties which the supported housing manager may require. These duties could change over time in response to changing organisational requirements.
6. To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.

1. Experience of leading or managing/assisting to manage a team in a similar environment.

5. Experience of delivering excellent service and care.
6. Knowledge of housing related support.
7. Knowledge of issues relating to supporting the homeless.
8. Good standard of education, including Maths and English.
