Here at Wimborne CMHT, we are excited to recruit a registered mental health nurse (RMN) to join the team to cover for a fixed term of up to 11 months. We are looking for an experienced Band 5 or 6 RMN to join the team.
We would welcome applicants who are passionate about recovery, person-centred in their approaches and driven to be part of a close working team. You will be supported in your clinical work and professional development by experienced mental health practitioners, along with ongoing close and supportive supervision from the Team Leader, together with an agreed programme of induction and orientation as required.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced/Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary team, which includes a Psychiatrist, Nurses, Social Workers, OT, and Support Time Recovery Workers, with further support from Admin and a Psychologist.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, committed, dynamic, and a motivated professional with excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to prioritise work.
Having experience of working in a community mental health environment would be useful, but not essential. You will need to be able to apply the philosophies of engagement and recovery within your work with service users.
A good level of IT literacy is an essential requirement.
The team is based in Wimborne and covers the surrounding area. The post holder will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car as they will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community settings.
This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.
