Main duties of the job
This is a great opportunity to join NHS Gloucestershire ICB and be part of the children, young people and maternity team who work with partners to transform and develop service provision for children and young people in Gloucestershire. This post will provide full senior administration support for Childrens Continuing Care and the Keyworker services delivering the NHS Long Term Plan vision across Gloucestershire providing support to children and young people with continuing care needs, learning disabilities and/or autism.
Through early intervention and joined-up working across the system, NHS Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire County Council have a statutory responsibility to meet the health care, social care and educational needs of children and young people with continuing care needs. Keyworking aims to deliver a new and holistic way of supporting children and young people with a learning disability and/or autism and their families.
Job responsibilities
* Provide full senior administration support for Childrens Continuing Care and Keyworker services.
* Support the delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan vision across Gloucestershire.
* Assist in meeting the health care, social care, and educational needs of children and young people.
* Facilitate joined-up working across the system.
Person Specification
* Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/instructions to staff and service users.
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task.
* Effective team working.
* Minute taking.
Qualifications
* A Levels or equivalent level of experience (NVQ in Administration level 4 desirable).
* Experience of arranging meetings.
* Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and handling sensitive and confidential information.
* Competent in Excel, pivot tables/charts, data organisation and straightforward formulae.
* Competent in creating PowerPoint presentations.
* Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
* Significant administrative/secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.

* Ability to work without supervision.
* Able to work on own initiative, organising and prioritising own and others workloads to changing and often tight deadlines.
