We are currently looking for Dispensing Analyst & Laboratory Technician(s) to join our Toxicology department to check, examine and
prepare bodily fluid and hair samples, predominantly from Road Traffic Act Offences. Other duties include updating Laboratory
Information Management systems (LIMS) and process documentation to allow accurate monitoring and rapid progression of workflow and
preparing laboratory solutions, calibrators and quality control samples.
You will be educated to A-Level or equivalent in a scientific subject; Chemistry is preferred.
This is an entry-level role so although some previous laboratory experience would be an advantage; it is not essential as full
training will be provided. Experience with Microsoft Excel/Word is also preferred. Future progression includes simple extraction
techniques such as Protein Precipitation or Alcohol analysis using Gas Chromatography Flame Ionisation Detector (GCFID). We are
looking for candidates who are motivated to start their career as a Dispensing Analyst & Laboratory Technician.
You will be a good team player with the ability to work alone. You will also have accurate and detailed record keeping, meticulous
attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
