Prepworld have an exeptionally exciting new position for an Operations Manager on lead on Nights Main purpose: To lead the night shift departments of our food manufacturing site as a single collaborative team. The Night Shift Operations Manager will have responsibility for overseeing Production, QA, Hygiene, Warehouse and Engineering teams during the night hours, ensuring seamless production processes and optimal performance. This role also encompasses critical responsibilities for maintaining site security and managing crisis situations effectively. You will be the glue and eyes, overseeing our Night Shift operations Main duties: (Leadership and Management): Provide direction and support to the Production, QA, Hygiene, Warehouse and Engineering teams on the night shift to achieve business wide objectives. Ensure a collaborative and productive work environment, fostering professional growth and engagement among team members. Act as the senior decision-maker for the site during night hours (Production Oversight): Monitor and optimise manufacturing processes to meet production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations Troubleshoot and resolve any operational challenges swiftly to minimise downtime. QA, Hygiene, Warehouse, Engineering Oversight: Coordinate with the Technical and Engineering teams to address equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly. Facilitate technical problem-solving and ensure that any issues regarding fruit quality and food safety are resolved swiftly. (Site Security): Oversee all aspects of site security during night operations. Ensure cmpliance with company policies and implement measures to safeguard personnel, property, and information. (Crisis Management): Act as the first point of contact for emergencies or incidents, initiating appropriate response protocols. Communicate effectively with senior management and external stakeholders as required during crises. (Compliance and Reporting): Chair shift start up meetings Ensure adherence to health and food safety, and environmental standards. Generate and submit detailed reprts on night shift performance, incidents, and key metrics. Act as point of contact for internal colleagues and 3rd parties.
