Job Opportunity: Town Planner - Associate Town Planner
We are currently working with one of our clients who are seeking an experienced and motivated planner to join their expanding team, working on a diverse portfolio of planning applications and site promotion projects across Wales and the South West of England. Their team operates from offices in Cardiff and Exeter, offering a supportive and close-knit environment where collaboration and professional development are key.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work on a range of planning applications and site promotion projects, primarily residential, but also including mixed-use, retail, and educational developments.
2. Collaborate with a wide range of clients, including private individuals, Housing Associations, contractors, housebuilders, and landowners.
3. Contribute to planning policy development and ensure compliance with development management processes.
Ideal Candidate:
1. 2 to 15 years of experience in planning, with a solid understanding of development management and planning policy.
2. Strong written communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
3. Adaptable, with the ability to handle a variety of projects and tasks.
4. Positions available at Planner, Senior Planner, Principal Planner, or Associate Planner level, depending on experience.
Location & Flexibility:
The role can be based in Cardiff or Exeter, with hybrid working options and flexibility depending on the level of experience.
