About the Role A progressive Independent school in Barnet requires a skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join their department, starting ASAP for a temporary period. The successful candidate will deliver engaging DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons, covering various design and manufacturing processes. Prepare students for assessments and projects. Develop students' design thinking and practical skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of DT resources. Organize and lead design and technology-related activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology. Proven experience teaching DT at secondary level. Strong technical and practical skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to engage and motivate students.
