Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarder
Business Development Manager for a freight forwarder based in the North West of England. This role is hybrid with about 1-2 days in the office and the rest is meeting clients. You will head up the sales direction for the company, and this role is a blank page for how it will evolve. The role will include cold sales but is not a harsh sales environment type of company.
Salary: £35-45k + bonus, OTE around £60-70k with company car or car allowance (depending on preference).
The Role:
1. Meet clients to secure business and repeat business.
2. Draw up a strategy for sales.
3. Consider trade shows to attend.
4. Attend networking events.
5. Perform all normal business development duties.
Experience:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with an Ocean and Air freight forwarding background, cold sales experience, and the ability to hit the ground running. You will be passionate and able to reach out to customers to secure freight bookings.
Requirements:
* £35-45k + bonus

* Company car or car allowance
* Must be Cheshire or South Manchester based
