ACT Pharmacy Technician - Private Hospital - LiverpoolJob Description: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated ACT/Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our client's pharmacy team at a private hospital in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly registered ACTs, as no prior hospital experience is required. The team is committed to providing comprehensive training to support your development in this role. Job Title: Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician Location: Private Hospital, Liverpool Employment Type: Full-time (5 days per week) Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break) Salary: £17 - £26 per hour Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months Start Date: April/May 2024 Key Responsibilities: Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medications in accordance with hospital standards. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication supplies. Participate in continuous professional development and training programmes. Assist with inventory management and stock control within the pharmacy. Support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Qualifications: Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with an ACT qualification. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
