The Business Support role is essential in providing support to our client-facing teams, our clients, and our colleagues across the group. Supporting the Business Support Manager, the Business Support Team Leader at LB Group will oversee the daily operations of the business support team across sites, ensuring high-quality administrative and office management support. Occasional travel to other office locations will be required.
The role demands excellent organisational skills, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of service delivery in a financial services firm to drive efficiency and enhance client service delivery. The individual will be a natural relationship builder with exceptional communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to deal with ambiguity while demonstrating good judgement.

· External: Third party clients and companies
· Internal: Office Heads, All departments
Key responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of a business support team, including workload management and delegation of tasks.
• Work alongside the team in meeting day-to-day demands by taking a hands-on approach in delivering support service requests.
• Ensure that all administrative processes are efficient and meet the firm’s standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and improve workflows and implement best practices to enhance productivity.
2. Client Service:
• Serve as a point of escalation for client queries and issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support the firm’s business objectives.
3. Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Implement new technologies and systems to enhance the efficiency of business support functions.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure that all business support activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor risk management policies and procedures to mitigate potential risks.
5. Performance & Resource Management:
• Manage the performance and development of your team to meet department objectives.
• Manage resource allocation to ensure adequate support for all departments within the firm.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
• Support the Business Support Manager in preparing regular reports on team performance, client service metrics, and operational efficiency.
• Analyse data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve service delivery.
