We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Microsoft Power Platform / D365 Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 (Project Operations). This role will focus on creating tailored workflow and data solutions, system integrations, and providing technical expertise for business improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Solution Development & Customization Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dynamics 365 (D365). Create and manage custom entities, workflows, business processes, and plugins within D365. Improve and define processes for Bug Fixes, Test planning, release and deployment management, working with Solutions Partner and our internal Data & Quality teams. Collaborate effectively to ensure well-defined requirements capture, planning and corresponding test plans for all development work. User Support & Training Align processes with our internal Quality, Customer Service and IT teams. Partner closely with Business Solutions Partner, Business Delivery Managers and other relevant stakeholders across the business to ensure user needs are met and adequate training materials are provided. System Integration Work with technical teams to integrate D365 with internal and external systems using appropriate integration methods such as, APIs, Power Platform Connectors, Azure Logic Apps, etc. Data Management Collaborate with IT & Data function to ensure data integrity and security within the Azure Power Platform and D365 environments. Ensure compliance of data handling and processing within a regulated, healthcare environment. Understanding of Dataverse and data modelling principles: knowledge of connectors, integration techniques, and Microsoft Dataverse/Azure components beneficial to Power Platform solutions. Effective Collaboration Work with external consultants in the d esign of new Microsoft solutions and functionality; contribute to value and case statements for escalation. Contribute to internal and customer-facing project activities, working with a wide range of business colleagues. Build effective relationships with Quality, IT and Data teams. Ability to challenge existing thinking and provide new approaches to delivery, within a regulated environment. Business Requirements Analysis Work closely with Business Solutions Partner to analyse business requests; translate into technical requirements and develop delivery plan. Business Intelligence Create curated data sets and develop actionable insights for business functions through Power BI and insight to action workflow models. Work with Business Solutions partner to identify new opportunities to create business value and positively impact decision making. Support and develop Power BI visualisations where required. Roadmap Development Contribute to departmental strategy; provide SME and outside-in thinking across the business to bring new ideas to enhance customer value. Mentorship & Best Practice Share knowledge and experience with team members, wherever possible. Design ways of working and best practice to improve collaboration and outcomes, contributing to a continuous improvement culture within a regulated environment. Person Specification: Essential: Proven professional experience developing and customizing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and D365. Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and D365 customization and configuration. Knowledge of Azure, Dataverse, SQL and DAX. Awareness of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM); Continuous Delivery and Continuous Improvement. Strong Communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively, dealing with technical and non-SME stakeholders. Experience working in a highly regulated industry, and/or with highly sensitive data. Desirable: Ability to manage a range of internal stakeholders. Awareness of cost and budget implications of decision making. Experience of systems integration – ability to identify synergies and new opportunities. Genuine interest in data and analytics – new ways of using data to deliver insight. Knowledge of Jira (Project/Service Management), Azure DevOps or similar.
