Are you ready for an exciting new challenge?
We require motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to work as part of our team. You will work on a Casual basis, as and when required, to cover annual leave and sickness.
Duties will include ensuring customer safety at all times, communicating effectively with members of the public and other staff, undertaking cleaning duties, setting up and dismantling sports equipment in a safe environment, and lifeguarding.
You will be based at DG1. The leisure centre has 3 swimming pools, a health suite with sauna and steam room, a 6-court sports hall hosting a range of sports and activities, a large fitness suite, 2 fitness studios, and a wellbeing area as well as meeting rooms available for hire.
You will assist in actively promoting DG1 and Leisure and Sport activities at all times.
You must have a current RLSS Pool Lifeguard Qualification as this is essential for this post. Experience of working with the general public and customer care is essential, and ideally, you will have experience of working in leisure facilities.
You will be required to attend regular staff training sessions as part of the requirement of this post. This post will include shift work including evenings and weekends.
