Supply Chain Manager (North Region) Base : Warrington WA2 0XP - Hybrid working, with some Regional travel throughout the North and Scotland to our Operational offices and Site teams. Typically working 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday Working with us as a Regional Supply Chain Manager, you’ll know that what you do really matters to our business as your role is fundamental to our success. You will work alongside the Operations, Commercial and Estimating teams to effectively and proactively develop a robust preferred competitive supply chain of National and Regional suppliers and sub-contractors, for our Northern Operations teams in a Social Housing, Refurbishment, Planned Works, Voids and Responsive Repairs environment. Generally programs are running in a live environment where speed alongside quality is a real priority for the client. Our Regional Supply Chain Manager, will lead the identification, implementation and management of a tiered supply chain across the categories of material, manufacturer, indirect and subcontract supply chain. The role will also take national responsibility for a category of supplies which could include manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors. An outline of your responsibilities as a Supply Chain Manager Working with the Regional stakeholders, create and implement local supply chain strategies to support the attainment of local business plan and margins. Develop and manage a range of partnership agreements with the supply chain. Ensuring performance is monitored effectively to manage commercial risk and optimise delivery. Maintain knowledge of external market conditions and feed insight into wider team to revise local and national supply chain strategies. Using expertise, local business knowledge and external market conditions to champion innovation Work with wider Supply Chain and Regional Team to implement any improvement projects. Maintain all documentation and performance information to produce effective reports. Take an active role in supporting the regional team in tendering for new work. Ensure compliance with defined Supply Chain processes and procedures. About You You will have experience of working as a Regional Supply Chain Manager within the Construction sector, ideally within Social Housing/Refurbishment/Planned Works environment, which will give you the knowledge to hit the ground running and contribute effectively with our workload. Experience of driving cost savings within sub-contractors and material, manufacturer and indirect supply chain is a must to enable you to lead the implementation and management of a tiered supply chain.
