The first club in their portfolio, we are looking for a general manager who is commercially savvy, member and student orientated and passionate about combat sports. Key Responsibilities Ensure a successful presale and opening of the club and academy Oversee day-to-day operations of the gym and academy, ensuring a high-quality experience for all members and visitors. Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention in the MMA community. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of coaches and administrative staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Manage budgets, financials, and operational resources to maximise efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe training environment. Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to boost membership growth and brand awareness. Facilitate collaborations with local community organisations to promote health, fitness, and wellness. Qualifications: What We're Looking For GM experience, ideally having been through a presale Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with members, staff, and external partners. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource allocation. Passion for Mixed Martial Arts, fitness, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Proficiency in using management software and tools to streamline operations.
