Information Technology Field Engineer
10-month contract (possibility for extension)
As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT services and equipment within your primary site and potentially surrounding sites.
Tasks include:
* Ticket Management: Efficiently manage and update tickets assigned to your queue.
* Stock Management: Oversee aspects of asset management.
* Hardware Repairs: Triage and carry out hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, arranging required parts and returns as needed.
* Service Improvement: Identify and highlight potential service issues or improvements to your Team Leader.
Requirements
* Must be eligible for SC clearance.
* Able to join out of hours rota/standby.
* Must have a full, clean driving licence.
* Experience in a PC field service or PC field workshop environment.
Technical Skills:
* Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing hardware, including complex laptop break/fix repairs.
* Accredited or willing to undergo training for HP and Dell desktop and laptop support.
