Our client is within the Travel Sector and this role is based out of their Southampton office. Upon joining and whilst you get to know the business and team, you will be required to be on site. Once up to speed, you can work from home (WFH) twice a week.
Client Details
This role is a brand new position reporting directly to the CTO, involving a mix of hands-on coding and leading a team of 5 other developers. Depending on your background and desires, you will lead 50%-80% of the time, with the remainder focused on hands-on coding.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities alongside coding will include:
1. Drive innovation and assist in decisions on the future of technology.
2. Conduct performance reviews.
3. Train team members.
4. Manage recruitment.
5. Oversee the DevOps strategy, particularly during the AWS migration.
6. Be the go-to person in the office for technical queries.
7. Manage project progress.
8. Develop new systems.
Profile
Must haves:
1. 8+ years in the industry.
2. Experience managing a team of developers.
3. Proficiency in PHP.
4. AWS experience, particularly with migrations.
5. Familiarity with microservices architecture.

1. Experience with React.
2. Project management experience.
