Albert Roger Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to lead and manage our operational teams through a period of exciting growth. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, profitability, and service excellence across Merchandising, Customer Service, and Logistics with our 3PL partners across Europe. A key part of this role involves team leadership, performance management, and fostering a high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a logistics strategy for European physical & online orders
* Streamline and standardise operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
* Manage all inbound and outbound orders, ensuring seamless coordination with warehouses and retailers
* Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and drive continuous improvement
* Oversee stock management, ensuring alignment with ERP systems for optimal inventory control
* Lead the rollout of brands across stores in Europe, ensuring operational readiness
* Ensure compliance with CAPEX requirements and budget tracking for merchandising
* Develop recovery plans and strategic action plans to meet annual targets
* Lead, motivate, and develop teams across Merchandising, Customer Service, Logistics, and 3PL partnerships
* Set clear objectives and performance expectations, ensuring alignment with business goals
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, driving accountability and excellence
* Coach and mentor team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and operational alignment
* Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, implementing improvement plans where necessary
* Accurate reporting - Invoicing, stock, service level and logistics costs analysis
* CAPEX Expenditure Tracking
* Action Planning to achieve targets to Year-End with delivery success KPIs
* Organisational development with targets, objectives, and career pathways
Skills & Experience
* Proven expertise in operations management, particularly in logistics, supply chain, or planning within a Retail or FMCG organisation with a high SKU count
* Experience managing 3PL providers across multiple European countries
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams
* Customer-focused, proactive, and solutions-driven approach to operational challenges
* Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in pricing, stock management, and forecasting
* Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and ERP system development
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment
* Detail-oriented with strategic planning capabilities to drive operational excellence
* Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively across multiple countries and organisational levels
