Salary – Competitive, based upon the United Learning pay scale (between £35,00 and £51,000)

We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to become a Subject Leader of Psychology or a Subject Leader of Psychology and Sociology. You would be responsible for leading the department from September 2025. The ideal candidate should be able to enthuse and motivate learners at A Level and encourage students across the school in their pursuit of the Social Sciences. The department offers both A Level Psychology and Sociology, both of which are two of the most popular subject choices for our Key Stage 5 students. Experience of teaching Psychology at A Level is essential. The Subject Leader will share our commitment to providing the very best educational opportunities in all aspects of school life for our students.
Reporting to the Head of Social Sciences, this is a middle leadership position where you will be supported to be the very best leader you can be. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of outstanding classroom practice and strong academic outcomes.
