The Role
* Assisting fee earners with all stages of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders, estate agents and other third parties
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, transfer deeds and completion statements
* Conducting title checks and property searches and preparing reports
* Managing files, keeping them up to date and ensuring they are progressed in a timely manner
* Handling general administrative tasks such as filing, managing calendars and organising client meetings
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience working within a conveyancing department is essential
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Strong communication and client-care skills
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure
* Proactive, diligent, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
