An opportunity for a secondment cover administrator is open for an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative person to be part of the District Nursing Team Inner Division.
This exciting role is at the heart of a dynamic District Nursing team committed to meeting the diverse needs of local communities, maintaining people's independence and improving their quality of life.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration service, able to deal with confidential issues in a professional manner. You will have experience of basic information technology and use of the System One clinical system, collating information, production of reports, and developing and maintaining electronic systems.
You will be highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative and be a committed team player to several district nursing teams.
You will be patient-focused with the ability to think calmly and logically under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a positive attitude to maintaining high standards at all times.
Please note that this job role is full-time Monday - Friday, fixed term secondment cover of 6 months.

Person Specification
Education/Qualification
* Good general standard of education, equivalent to 5 GCSE level (Grade A-C) including English and Mathematics or equivalent level 2 qualification(s)
* Educated to diploma level/NVQ level 3 in administration.
* Outstanding level of spoken and written English and communication skills
* AMSPAR training
* IT certificate in advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word
* IT certificate in Microsoft PowerPoint
Knowledge and Experience
* Relevant experience of working within an acute NHS setting or community care setting
* Experience of multi-agency working
* Experience of data inputting and providing relevant data for reporting purposes
* Experience of working in Children’s Services administration e.g., Child Health, Children Centres, Health Visiting/School Nursing or similar
* Experienced Systm1 or EMIS user or other similar patient record system
* Experience with safeguarding children referrals/cases
Skills, Abilities and Attributes
* Knowledge and commitment to equal opportunities
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and computer databases.
* Demonstrate understanding of other professional roles in the Trust and wider community organisations.
* Working knowledge of national policies and procedures across health and social care
* Bilingual or multilingual.

£31,944 to £34,937 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS.
