Registered Local Service Manager
Tony Long House, 18 Shapland, Casson Road, Swindon SN3 4FF (also covering Maryfield Supported Housing)
37.5 hours per week
Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Registered Local Service Manager that will be responsible for our Learning Disabilities Supported Living Scheme at Maryfield at Groundwell Road (12 self-contained flats), Tony Long House which is a Registered Residential Care Home with 6 bedrooms and Shaplands which is 16 bungalows providing housing management for those with learning and physical disabilities.

The role of Local Service Manager will include:
* Leading the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
* Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, key stakeholders and external agencies
* Overseeing the overall delivery of the service
* Working closely with our internal and external partners to achieve KPI’s
* Overseeing the service’s financial performance and managing the budget
* Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff
* Flexibility around working hours is expected in accordance with the needs of the service
* Responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experiences:
* Previous experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service, demonstrating strong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Compassionate, caring, and hard working with a hands-on approach to support
* Experience of working in a personalised way supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
* Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
* Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
