Construction technician

We are working alongside secondary schools in the Wakefield area who are looking to recruit a Construction Technician.

We are looking for somebody with experience working in a Construction background and could be the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate to gain some work experience. This opportunity would also be ideal for an experienced Technology Teacher who is looking to take a step back in responsibility.

The role involves:

Maintaining equipment and supplies in the Technology department.
Assisting the Teaching staff in the department with practical experiments in lessons.
Helping Science teachers to support students in their learning.
Ensuring that all students and staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role.
A qualification in a Technology related subject.
Two satisfactory references.
A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one.

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
