The Head of HR will be supporting our Regional Team in Scotland and Northern England, a role which allows you to travel throughout the region so you can best support our colleagues in branch. Key Responsibilities Partner the Regional Leadership team to implement and deliver the People agenda swiftly and effectively. Be an advocate for talent development, creating a continuous pipeline of successors for key roles Collaborate with the central L&D team to develop Brilliant Branch Managers and great people in all our roles Exhibit a passion for driving positive change and creating a culture of continuous improvement within our teams Drive initiatives to deliver increased management capability and accountability. Support and coach managers to improve diversity and inclusion; influencing stakeholders, role modelling and proactively identifying solutions. Develop and coordinate initiatives which enhance social value, employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing practical solutions and signposting other areas of support Establish key performance indicators and regularly report on progress and outcome, identifying trends and areas for improvement.What's in it for you? Knowledge of HR Systems (ideally Workday) In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and ideally experienced in competency-based selection and psychometric testing Comfortable working with ambiguity, resilient, curious and open to learning and sharing.
