Main duties of the job

As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you'll lead a team of Healthcare Assistants and Donor Care Supervisors, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and proficient.
It's all about running safe blood donation sessions, which includes assessing donor blood and maintaining your team's skills. Initially, you'll be based on our mobile team, but will soon transfer to our brand-new Blood Donation Centre.
You can expect to be busy day-to-day, working variable hours and days including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays - there won't be any night shifts.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* A nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration (Part 1), with great leadership skills and deep clinical expertise.
Experience
* Unwavering drive for excellence, best practice, and high-quality care. Ability to make critical decisions that affect donor safety.
