What is a DayMaker, I hear you asking yourself?
A DayMaker is to have the ability to be the maker of someone’s day by understanding the environment you are in. Take ownership of the surrounding areas to create an amazing employee and guest experience.
The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a DayMaker, Guest Services Host for one of our amazing corporate clients.

What does being a Guest Services Host look like?
You will spearhead customer service operations in the vibrant client office, delivering exceptional service to all visitors and employees. The building welcomes a diverse array of clients who expect a warm, engaging, and helpful hosting experience. Your polished presentation, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills, will ensure seamless interactions with clients and stakeholders, enhancing the overall experience.
Day-to-Day Tasks
* Execute opening and closing procedures per company requirements.
* Register guests, distribute access passes, announce visitors.
* Arrange client travel.
* Conduct site walkarounds and inspections at specified times.
* Maintain and stock meeting rooms and manage office supplies.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post.
Events
* Use your creative flare to come up with on-site client-based events.
* Help decorate for and run festivities for a range of different holidays.
Client Interaction
* Maintain open and positive communication with clients.
* Support client requests and act as the primary contact for issue resolution.
* Approach communications with a can-do attitude.
* Provide timely and effective feedback to clients.
HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment)
* Act as Fire Warden/Chief Fire Warden during evacuations.
* Report accidents, incidents, or near misses to the UK Facilities Manager.
* Train relief staff on emergency procedures and maintain office security.

* Welcome: You will be friendly, courteous, and punctual.
* Team: Work alongside the Team Leader and another DayMaker as a team of three.
* Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer experience for guests, employees, and the client team.
* Ownership: Take ownership of the surrounding areas to maintain a welcoming and high-standard environment.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with the client and other teams such as security, catering, and cleaning.
* Positive Attitude: Approach tasks with a consistently positive and can-do attitude.
* Attention to Detail: Maintain the space to high standards, ensuring it is well-prepared and inviting.
* Commitment to Excellence: Uphold high standards in both the physical environment and overall customer experience.
* Flexibility: Adapt to the needs of the office, be able to work on the busy reception desk and demanding workspace hub.
* Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
* Event Coordination: Organize and support events, ensuring all involved parties are well-informed and the environment is adequately prepared.

Job Types: Fixed term 12 month contract with ability to be extended
Pay: £14.00 per hour
