Busseys are an award-winning family business and have served the local Norfolk area for over 100 years. Selling BYD, Ford and Ineos across 5 sites while also servicing Peugeot. A family run business they have sold thousands of cars to thousands of Norfolk customers in their storied history. During their 100 years, Busseys first started selling Ford Model T’s, became a Ministry of Supply workshop in the war years and has employed over 200 local people.
About you:
As a Workshop Controller for Busseys BYD and Peugeot Norwich, you’ll work with the Service Manager to deliver a high level of productivity and an excellent standard of first-time repairs, while making sure you always maintain a clean, safe and professional workshop. This role would be ideal for an organised, quick-thinking person with previous motor industry experience, looking to develop their career and move into a management role. The ability to keep to deadlines and react quickly to technical challenges is important, and you should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

The key elements of the role are:
· Controlling the flow of the work through the workshops, maximizing the efficiency of the technicians whilst ensuring our external and internal customer’s expectations are met.
· Managing the team’s communication with our customers, ensuring we are keeping them informed at all stages and that all additional work is quoted, discussed, and authorized to maximize customer convenience during their visit.
· Day to day management responsibility for a team within the department ensuring compliance with all Busseys and manufacturer standards and process whilst delivering fantastic levels of customer and staff satisfaction.
