The Role - Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor
This civil engineering contractor is searching for a hard-working and driven Quantity Surveyor who is looking to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Based in their Bromsgrove office, you will work alongside their production team to ensure contractual control and cost management across a wide range of projects for the region.
You will be office and site-based covering Telford to Gloucester.
You will be joining a team of 9 Quantity Surveyors and will have exposure to the full project life cycle with involvement from initial enquiry through to project delivery.
You will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects relating to the projects while achieving the highest standards to maintain the company's strong reputation.
Minimum Requirements:
1. GCSEs Minimum 7 A-C / 5-9 including Maths and English.
2. Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor and/or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
3. General knowledge of contractual terms within construction.
4. Excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel.
5. Strong mathematical ability.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Skilled at gathering and interpreting data and information.
8. Ability to produce a range of cost value reports.
