Job Description:
We’re on the hunt for a Creative Lead – a hands-on creative with a sharp eye for storytelling, a deep understanding of production and post-production, and the leadership experience to manage and inspire a team of videographers and content creators.
In this role, you’ll take creative ownership of key projects across our Formula 1 and wider sport portfolio. You’ll lead on briefs, oversee shoots, oversee the post-production, and ensure we’re always delivering innovative, high-quality content that reflects the ambitions of our clients and our agency.
You’ll also be a mentor and manager to a talented team; helping them grow, reviewing their work, and stepping in with hands-on support where needed. This leadership role is for someone who can think big and roll their sleeves up when it counts. There will be room for hands-on content creation by the creative lead, if this is a preference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creative Leadership: Lead the creative development and execution of content across video, photography, and social media. Set the processes, tone, direction, and standard for output across the team.
* Team Management: Line manage a team of videographers and content creators, guiding project delivery, supporting individual development, and ensuring a high-performance, collaborative culture.
* Hands-on Production: Be ready to step in on key shoots or edits when needed – whether it’s directing talent, setting up a shot, or solving a technical problem on the fly.
* Post-Production Oversight: Provide expert guidance on editing workflows, storytelling structure, motion graphics, colour grading, and sound design.
* Client Collaboration: Act as a senior creative contact for key clients, translating briefs into content strategies and ensuring delivery that exceeds expectations.
* Project Management: Oversee creative timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple projects. Ensure we’re working smart, staying organised, and delivering on time.
* Innovation & Standards: Champion new formats, visual trends, and content innovations across the agency. Raise the creative bar internally and externally.
Qualifications & experience:
* Proven experience as a creative manager or creative lead within a content agency, production house, or brand team - min 3 years.
* A strong reel and portfolio showcasing social-first video content, campaigns, and visual storytelling.
* Client management experience - working directly with various stakeholders in the pre- and post-production process.
* Direct experience managing creative staff or freelancers, including performance reviews and team development - min 2 years.
* Advanced understanding of video production and editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, colour, sound) - min 5 years.
* On-set experience, including lighting, directing, and working under pressure in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent organisational skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong communication skills with the ability to lead brainstorms, present to clients, and inspire a team
* Experience in motorsport, sports content, or high-energy brand storytelling is a major plus.
