About the role: Are you looking for your next challenge as a NICIEC Electrical Qualifying Supervisor? This could be your next role if you want to be a part of a fast-growing fire and electrical installation and testing company. We are looking for an experienced working supervisor NICIEC Qualifying Supervisor to join our team.
Benefits: Competitive salary- up to £45K pa (Experienced candidate). You will report to a business unit director responsible for electrical testing/remedial/project works. You will also support the business with service delivery and performance management.
Responsibilities:
1. To carry out duties as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, validate and sign off NICEIC certification.
2. Working onsite to complete EICR, Remedial works and minor project works.
3. Liaise with the client’s representative and work colleagues through formal and informal meetings.
4. Provide expert advice, support and guidance on electrical installations during day-to-day activities.
5. Ensure that agreed quality controls in place are fully understood and implemented.
6. Work with the directors to ensure Quality Audits are undertaken and that any adverse findings, including those raised by others, are closed out promptly.
7. Providing guidance and assistance on quality and Health & Safety matters.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience of working as a NICIEC Qualifying Supervisor.
2. Working knowledge of Health and Safety at work.
3. Able to influence people through clear, concise communication skills in both verbal and written format.
4. Organised and responsive, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
5. A proven background in a similar role, ideally commercial electrical installations, testing, and inspecting.
6. Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
7. C&G 2360 Pt 1 & Pt 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
8. C&G (2394 & 2395) or 2391 Testing and Inspection.
9. AM2.
10. Approved ECS Gold Card.
