Contracts Manager - Social Housing Maintenance
My client is a leading contractor operating within Reactive maintenance in the social housing sector. Due to a recent contract win, they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join their team.
Working in partnership with their local authority client, the successful Contracts Manager will be responsible for the full running of the contract including:
1. Program planning/scheduling works
2. KPI monitoring/performance improvement
3. SOR works
4. Management of health and safety on site
5. Managing a direct workforce of Contracts Supervisors, Multi Trade Operatives, and Admin/Planning Team responsible for delivering all reactive/day-to-day repairs, voids, and planned works
You will be the main point of contact for the client.
Along with the management of day-to-day repairs, the Contracts Manager will also be responsible for:
1. Pre and post inspection of larger projects
2. Resolving escalated complaints
3. Meeting staff training needs
4. Organising sub-contractors and work allocation
5. Organising out-of-hours Rota
6. Ensuring H&S levels are maintained
Contracts Manager Experience:
1. Proven track record in leading and delivering response maintenance contracts with public sector/housing association clients
2. Experience mobilising public sector contracts will be an advantage
3. IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages
4. Ability to understand client/contract requirements to maximise productivity and measure improvement
5. Excellent written and oral presentation skills
6. Good understanding of H&S legislation
7. Experience of managing and improving internal and external customer relationships and conflict handling
8. Experience managing a large directly employed workforce including Supervisors and Multi-Trade Operatives
