This role offers a competitive salary of £50000 - £55000 per annum plus bonus. The position is based in central London. What you'll do: As an Executive Assistant within the Investment Banking Division, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within the department. You will be responsible for managing diaries effectively, coordinating travel arrangements, organising key events, assisting with presentations, proofreading documents, processing expenses, and greeting clients. Your ability to multitask will be crucial as you balance these responsibilities while also undertaking general administrative tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of investment banking. Provide support to the Investment Banking Department through effective diary management and preparation of papers and information in advance. Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings. Organise networking and completion dinners as well as other events required by the department. Assist with drafting, amending, and preparing presentations. Proofread and format documents. Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages and actioning as appropriate. Process expenses on a monthly basis. Meet and greet clients and visitors while preparing refreshments. Undertake general administrative tasks such as answering switchboard calls, opening and distributing post, checking stock levels and ordering supplies. What you bring: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role within a corporate environment. Excellent organisational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritise work. Strong communication skills with an ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times. Experience in handling travel arrangements and diary management. Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills. Experience in handling administrative duties such as answering calls, opening post, checking stock levels and ordering supplies.
