We are looking for a Test Lead to join our team Your primary objective will be to prepare and execute both Functional and Non-functional testing, following the AA IT and AA-X Test Strategy. This role is crucial to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring we deliver top-notch solutions efficiently and cost-effectively. You may specialise in areas such as Test Automation or Non-Functional Testing, including Performance Testing. What will I be doing? Review requirements, specifications, technical designs, user documentation, and other project materials to ensure product quality, performing manual static testing for timely feedback. Collaborate with product managers to refine work requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality is integrated at all stages of the development lifecycle. Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases aligned with developers. Develop and maintain automated tests and frameworks for our products' architecture, using tools such as Selenium, Browserstack, Mocha/Cucumber, Pact, Cypress, and JMeter. Enhance delivery speed and confidence by incorporating test components into CI pipelines. Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira or AWS, ensuring thorough records. Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies, contributing to process improvements across the Agile/Project team. Support and mentor junior team members, advising on quality strategy best practices and documenting recommendations where appropriate. What do I need? Highly proficient in Java and/or JavaScript. Extensive experience in leveraging Detox for automation testing. Experience in a Test Automation or equivalent role, with front-end test tools such as Selenium and Detox. Skilled in integration testing at the contract and API layer. Proficient in CI/CD with AWS, including building automation frameworks for execution within a build pipeline. Experienced in Jira and Zephyr or AWS for bug tracking and test case management. Knowledgeable in non-functional testing, including at least one of the following: Performance, OAT, Accessibility, or Security Testing. Experienced in testing mobile/React Native applications with tools like Detox or Maestro. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels, including business stakeholders.
