My client, a large Global Law Firm, is seeking an experienced Resource Manager/Work Allocation Manager to join the firm to work across 2 key Practice Groups. Senior Resource Managers are also considered.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Resource Manager/Work Allocation Manager to join an established function in a well-known Law Firm.
Key Duties
* Work across 2 Practice Groups within the firm, offering different challenges.
* Ensure maximum effectiveness of the work allocation within the practice group.
* Forge strong working relationships and gain buy-in from key Partners and Stakeholders by understanding Fee Earners' experience and capability and encouraging new ways of thinking regarding Resource Management.
* Work closely with HR and Partners in the business to drive utilization and improve the process of identifying issues.
* Provide consistent weekly MI and data to assist in creating the most effective approach in Resource decision-making for the firm.
* Work with the business to support the strategic goals around mobility and agility of staff in the firm.
* Occasional travel to Brussels.
The Resource Manager will need to exhibit strong strategic and operational skills within Resource Management or Work Allocation. They must be able to think critically and at pace to find ideal work solutions, personable, and able to build strong working relationships with colleagues at a senior level as well as lead and inspire a team. Experience of working in a similar environment such as a law firm or professional service is essential.
