Buckle up for a rewarding ride filled with discovery, growth, and the chance to contribute to something truly meaningful Requirements Must be enrolled at an accredited university Receiving credit for the internship Be able to commute to the office as these are not remote internships All internships are unpaid, and we do require initial COVID and flu vaccinations Requirements CTT – Is looking for one master Level Intern for a FULL YEAR (Sept 2025-May 2026). CTT has a high focus on Integrated Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders. Looking for an intern to be available 24 hours a week (3, 8 hour days) as the intensity of client needs is high on ACT. Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) - is community-based, high-intensity work. Our intern will be part of a multidisciplinary group of social workers, mental health counselors, peer support specialists, vocational specialists, and MD/APRN to provide wrap-around care to individuals with thought disorders in the community. Tasks range from individual therapy to addressing case management needs such as grocery shopping, managing benefits, housing search, AA/NA meetings, apartment maintenance, budgeting, going to medical appointments, etc. ALL SERVICES ARE COMMUNITY-BASED so you must be comfortable seeing clients independently in their homes and providing transportation in their own vehicles. Must be organized and able to be independent as this role has a lot of autonomy. The student will schedule patients at a time that is mutually convenient for the client and student. Supervisors do not dictate when they see patients. Daily documentation of services is also required as are regular chart documentation like treatment planning and assessments North End Counseling – Is looking for a final-year intern for the Fall. MSW or MHC. Preference of 2 days a week. Interns would be providing outpatient psychotherapy to adults ages 18 with state-eligible diagnosis(es). The primary focus is treating borderline personality disorder, PTSD, major depressive disorder, and co-occurring substance misuse. Interns can co-lead groups, provide individual therapy, provide case management, and be a part of our interdisciplinary team. Treatment modalities include the following: Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) DBT-S for substance misuse, DBT-E for eating disorders Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Prolonged Exposure (PE) Dialectical behavior therapy with Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE) Cognitive behavioral therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) Teachable Moment Brief Intervention (TMBI) Perinatal Counseling Current groups include Anger Management Group Substance Recovery Group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (including DBT-S and DBT-E) DBT Lite Community Connections Mental Health Court Program: This collaborative project with the Hillsborough County Court, local police departments, corrections personnel, consumer advocates, prosecutors, and public defenders offers an alternative to incarceration for non-violent offenders with mental health disorders. The project offers an alternative to incarceration by providing recovery-based treatment to enhance the quality of the individual’s life, reduce recidivism, and improve community safety. Community Connections Program was created by the court, mental health providers, prosecutors, and defense counsel to provide sentencing alternatives to individuals with a mental illness who are involved in criminal matters. The program integrates treatment into the resolution of the case. The fundamental principle of the program is that people who engage in criminal behavior due to their mental illness should undergo appropriate treatment to modify their behavior and achieve recovery. Interns would assist in program check-ins with participants, intake assessments, collecting data related to outcomes, attending court proceedings, collaborating with MHCGM treatment providers, and potentially engaging in groups. Cypress Center: The Cypress Center is seeking 2-3 interns for the 2025 fall/winter academic year. Providing an innovative alternative to hospitalization, our Cypress Center offers short-term crisis stabilization in a safe, comfortable setting that focuses on helping individuals return to their homes and families as soon as possible. The Cypress Center is a locked, 16-bed unit for adults 18 and older. It provides compassionate care to people from throughout New Hampshire who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, including thoughts of suicide. We provide weekly supervision and collaboration with a variety of area and online schools. We offer a flexible daytime schedule during the business week. Many students start their practicum with us and then seamlessly continue into the full internship by adding hours on-site.
