We’re looking for a Senior Acquisitions Lead to join our team, focusing on acquiring businesses from retiring independent financial advisers (IFAs). Working alongside the M&A team, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our M&A strategy, ensuring successful acquisitions and seamless business integration.
What we’re looking for
Experience
* 5+ years’ experience in M&A or corporate finance
* Proven success in acquiring wealth management businesses
* Strong financial analysis and negotiation skills
* Strong financial analysis and due diligence skills, including valuation assessments and risk analysis.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities, securing favourable deal terms and smooth transitions.
* Deep understanding of wealth management regulations and industry practices, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
* Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present insights and drive successful acquisitions.
What You’ll Do:
* Develop and implement strategies to identify and acquire businesses from retiring IFAs
* Build relationships and proactively seek deals before they reach the open market
* Lead due diligence, financial analysis, and transaction negotiations
* Ensure smooth client integration into our business model
* Collaborate with stakeholders, the M&A team, and the board to drive strategic growth
