The purpose of this role is to be part of the team responsible for tracking our energy meters. You will maintain the asset data that underpins our portfolio while helping resolve enquiries that come in from our fantastic customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Produce analysis and tools that provide the information needed to maximise the value of our asset portfolio.
2. Own, improve, and keep up to date a suite of tools that will help turn asset data into actionable insight.
3. Support the Team Leader in identifying issues or opportunities to improve – and drive forward the design and implementation of cost-effective solutions.
4. Maintain our asset data to ensure we maximise their life and value.
5. Ensure Stark’s Gas and Electricity metering databases and registers are up to date and accurate through exception reporting.
6. Perform routine reconciliations against information held in industry databases, problem solving any mismatches that arise.
7. Assist in the production of routine departmental KPI reports and Management Information for the senior management team.
8. Monitor the removal of our meters and liaise with the companies that remove them to ensure that our meter (or the value of it) is recovered by Stark.
9. Maintain Network systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate.
10. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver a first-class asset service.
11. Manage our central queries mailboxes as part of the team, taking ownership to resolve all query types within our standard timescales, escalating them as required.
12. Resolve complex queries that involve analysing data, reviewing audit trails and liaising with Suppliers, Account Managers, software providers, and other internal teams.
13. Support colleagues and proactively share knowledge to ensure the continuity of good quality service.
14. Challenge us and support in the creation and review of procedures to ensure we are always improving the services we provide.
15. Participate in regular training/learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge.
16. Adhere to all Stark policies, procedures, and working practices.
17. Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by what you do; use work equipment provided safely and co-operate with managers to provide safe systems of work.
18. Any other reasonable duties as required.
