Job summary An opportunity has arisen in our Resourcing and Recruitment Team for a Temporary Staffing Coordinator to join us managing day to day activities within our temporary staffing office and dealing with all bank staff and colleagues across our Trust. Our Temporary Staffing office plays a vital role helping to maintain the workforce necessary to ensure the hospital is running effectively and smoothly. You will be joining a friendly and experienced team always willing to help. We are looking for someone who is organised, process driven, has attention to detail with great IT and communication skills and can work in a fast paced and evolving work environment. Previous recruitment or temporary staffing experience is not a necessity but would be a great advantage. We are a fun and friendly team, committed to delivering outstanding service to hiring managers so they can focus on caring for our patients. Whilst the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level customer service to all bank staff you will also be required to deal with staff from all levels up to divisional managers. Main duties of the job The post holder will be based at Darent Valley Hospital be a key member of the team within the Temporary/ Bank Staff office. They will be the first point of contact for Bank Staff members and Trust managers, dealing with enquiries such as booking and cancelling shifts, bank staff pay queries, complaint-handling, dealing with agency staff and workers and answering phone, email and walk in queries and providing divisional level support in respect of temporary staffing cover needs. They will promote effective and efficient working relationships within internal/external senior managers and departmental managers in order to provide a comprehensive temporary staffing function to the business and all stakeholders of the organisation, helping to maintain the workforce necessary to provide the desired service whilst meeting statutory obligations and recording accurate employment data. The post holder must have the ability to work autonomously and in a fast pace environment to deal with time sensitive requests to ensure the bank operation within the hospital runs smoothly and clinical and non clinical shifts are filled.
