Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in SEN education
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Understanding of SEN strategies and techniques
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Additional SEN training or certifications
* Experience working in outreach or community-based educational settings
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing educational support to students with SEN in the East of England. The work will primarily take place in a school or community setting, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
