Join us in shaping the future of the life sciences industry. We are looking for an experienced and creative Head of Brand & Content to join our dynamic marketing function. You will work alongside our marketing, event and business leaders whilst being responsible for turning the brand vision, mission and values into compelling customer focused copy that fuels our multi-channel campaigns. With an obsessive focus on the customer, you will be responsible for ensuring each brand has a clearly defined multi-channel marketing plan with the expectation you’ll drive best in class activities which are focused on building a year round offering which delivers value for our audiences and supports delivery of our business objectives. Role Responsibilities: Lead the creation of key messages, brand guidelines and tone of voice to be used for each brand and the product offering within them. Manage the Brand and Content team, leading by example and supporting their development as evidenced by the quality of outputs and ultimately business KPIs including registrations and MQLs. Responsible for developing and introducing a structured approach to copy and content creation to support campaign requirements, ensuring they are on brand, customer focused and benefit led. Use this content first approach to scale consistent messaging across all channels including email, social, web, paid etc. Initiate, develop and manage partnerships that benefit the event – including media partners, associations, affiliates, speaker advocacy and sponsors and other key stakeholders within the communities. Responsible for planning and execution of all social media marketing channels including providing a plan around key milestones and maximising in-house content for added engagement and delivering growth in-line with benchmarks and KPIs. Work with the design team to develop the connection between words and image, introducing creative sessions, processes and outcomes that improve engagement in our channels. Work with the Sales team, creating campaigns that support the delivery of their commercial objectives and KPIs and ensure conversion rates for MQLs to SQLs are managed, maintained and optimized. Play a key role in driving the collaboration between marketing teams to ensure all promotional opportunities are maximised and best practice shared and implemented. We are looking for someone with: Our marketing team and business more broadly is a matrix – it will be important you’re a self-starter, someone adept at working on multiple projects at the same time and have an excellent communications style as you will be responsible for the end to end planning and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns. Demonstrable skills in crafting great copy, to support brand building and crafting narrative. Understanding of content marketing and the role it plays in brand building and year round engagement. You will have a proven track record of implementing successful and segmented promotional campaigns. Strong experience of current marketing technologies to maximise effectiveness both from a lead generation and also a customer service perspective. Collaboration with sales to increase lead generation and maximise sales opportunities. Demonstrable experience in marketing automation and CRM platforms (Hubspot, a benefit). Experience of working in a matrix, with excellent stakeholder management. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. B2B events experience a bonus but not requirement. Experience of managing a high performing team. General knowledge of all GDPR laws including preference centres and privacy policies More about the role: Salary : £42,000 - £50,000 per annum Location : All our roles are hybrid (a mix of remote and in office).
