Here at Wates, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Wates Living Space Supply Chain Team team based in one of our offices nationwide. This role is critical in maintaining up-to-date and high-quality Supply Chain records to meet Wates and wider industry minimum standards. As part of the onboarding process for new suppliers and subcontractors, you will ensure all required information is captured accurately and on time. Working closely with the WPS Procurement team and aligning with the Wates Group, you will play a key role in supporting our operations by verifying and processing new supplier requests. A particular focus will be placed on ensuring compliance with IR35 diligence and liaising with other WPS departments as necessary. This is an administrative support role offering home or hybrid working options, with only occasional travel required. Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager for WPS, you will be provided with process maps, training, and ongoing support to succeed in this role. Key Accountabilities will include: Support onboarding activities, as part of a team, including emphasis on IR35 checks Provide stats on work done in a period Other admin tasks to support WPS Procurement function as defined by Supply Chain Manager Training, workshops; other time spent on development activities We are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator who is a confident communicator, computer literate with experience in Excel and trackers. Experience working in construction/facilities management/or maintenance is preferred but not essential. To be successful in this role you will be a team player who can manage their own workload, has a good attention to detail and most of all have a ‘can do’ attitude.
