Systems Engineer / Solutions Architect - Public Sector
We are a rapidly growing specialist consultancy supporting clients in the Public Sector, including National Security, Law Enforcement, and Healthcare. We work with high-profile organizations to innovate, deliver complex solutions, and improve capabilities across a range of projects.
We’re currently seeking experienced Systems Engineers and Solutions Architects to join our dynamic team. You will work on advisory roles, collaborating with clients on the end-to-end systems delivery lifecycle and contributing to both customer-facing projects and internal processes. As part of a growing business, you will have the opportunity to make an impact, mentor junior staff, and help shape the company’s future.
Role Overview:
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver secure systems, ensuring designs meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
* Work on projects ranging from initial discovery through to long-term business consulting, design, development, and delivery.
* Contribute to internal systems and processes as the company scales, while also mentoring junior team members.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in the full system development life cycle of secure systems on platforms like AWS or Azure.
* Familiarity with UML and tools such as Enterprise Architect.
* Strong understanding of cloud-based solution architecture, including migration from on-premises to cloud-native environments.
* Experience with systems engineering methodologies and agile delivery (e.g., SAFe).
* Exceptional teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain high morale and performance.
Additional Requirements:
* A minimum of SC clearance (Security Check) is required, with some roles requiring DV clearance (Developed Vetting).
Location:
* Based in Vauxhall, London with a combination of office-based and remote work.
* Occasional travel to customer sites, primarily in London, with the possibility of travel across the UK.
