Seymour John is exclusively partnering with a large manufacturing business in Telford to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation and play a key role in their accounts function. The position involves processing a high volume of invoices and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and process a high volume of purchase invoices.
* Liaise with the supply chain and procurement teams.
* Investigate and resolve invoice queries.
* Communicate professionally with suppliers.
* Manage payment runs and supplier accounts.
* Set up and maintain supplier account details.
* Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Who We’re Looking For
* Ideally AAT qualified (or equivalent).
* Proven bookkeeping or purchase ledger experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or in a standalone role.
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
* A resilient, process-driven professional with strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel.
* Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
