Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services required by HM Land Registry Groups along with commercial contract management through pre-contract and post-contract activities. You will ensure that all HM Land Registry procurement activities meet the guidelines established for best practice and adhere to Procurement Legislation and HM Land Registry’s Procurement Policy. In this varied role, you also provide procurement support to stakeholders across HM Land Registry.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role you will have a business or business-related degree or experience of effective working in a commercial environment and be proficient in the use of MS Office, including Excel. You can demonstrate commercial awareness (for example through contract management, supplier management, procurement management or similar) and have experience of letting and/or negotiating contracts and/or managing contracts and suppliers. Through your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are a strong communicator able to deliver results by proactive, positive, and persuasive means. You are an effective team member and can develop effective relationships with key stakeholders. Through effective organisational skills, you can prioritise workload and you have excellent attention to detail and can make sound judgements/decisions based on available evidence. Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
