Job Description:
Due to recent contract growth, exciting opportunities for an experienced warehouse operative have been created at our operation in Brockworth, Gloucester. These are key roles that will be central to the successful delivery of a contract where Wincanton is providing warehousing and transport services for equipment being delivered for the construction of Hinkley Point.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to commencing employment; this includes being able to provide a minimum of 3 years consecutive UK employment/education & residential history.
Permanent and 3-month fixed term contracts available.
The role reports into the Shift Lead.

Day to Day
* Loading and unloading lorries - construction items - use of up to 16 tonne MHE
* Accurate recording of all deliveries; use of tablets to capture all stock movements
* Safety reporting - regularly capturing safety conversations and observations
* Demonstrating a safety-first mindset and active engagement with safety initiatives
* Delivering high personal standards to achieve KPI’s in safety, quality, performance and service
* Taking pride in ensuring 100% accuracy in all aspects of the operation
What will you bring?
* Experience of working within a warehouse environment
* Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills
* Ability to make recommendations for improvement
* Enthusiastic, committed and able to respond positively to changing demands
* MHE license(s) desirable but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidates
