Hours : 42 hours/week, including 1–2 sleep-in shifts and participation in an on-call rota.
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or a Senior Support Worker ready to take the next step in their career to join a new residential home for children aged 8–18 in Gloucester.

As a Deputy Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful launch and ongoing development of this new home in Gloucester, supporting both young people and staff in creating a safe and nurturing space.
Care Oversight : Lead the implementation, monitoring, and review of Care Plans and Behaviour Support Plans.
Compliance : Ensure adherence to Children’s Home Regulations (2015) and all safeguarding practices.
Collaboration : Work with professionals, families, and other stakeholders to meet the needs of the children.
Operational Management : Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the home, including shift planning, household tasks, and administrative duties.
A track record of success in a Residential Children’s Home setting, with a passion for achieving positive outcomes for young people.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent).
Strong understanding of Children’s Home Regulations (2015) and safeguarding requirements.
Full UK driving license.
Enhanced DBS Disclosure Check.
Clear career progression to a full Deputy Manager position within 12 months.
