Job Description: As a Production Manager, you will influence and manage projects from start to finish. You will schedule and facilitate workshop production, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate with the wider team to cost projects, influence design and improve production processes. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain production schedules and budgets. Manage and facilitate workshop production and onsite installations. Manage and coordinate in house and freelance production teams. Manage the flow of information and distribution of drawings. Manage material / supplier selection, procurement and stock levels. Manage and maintain quality control. Manage safe working practices amongst the production team. Identify production risks and solve issues as they arise. Maintain and record project progress and performance. Review and present project performance to the wider team. Keep the wider team informed of progress and manage expectations. Assist with estimating, and project specifications. Influence and improve design and production processes. Skills & Experience : Experience in production management, preferably in the bespoke fabrication, events, entertainment or attractions industry. Operate at a senior level, with a proficiency in people management and development Strong understanding of HSE regulations and COSHH Hands-on experience in the design and / or build, preferably in the bespoke fabrication, events, entertainment or attractions industry. An understanding of CNC, timber, GRP and creative production processes. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment. Full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel.
