We are looking to recruit a Lead Control Systems Engineer for a 10-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey. On Offer Competitive hourly pay rate Outside IR35 work engagement Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Purpose of the Role To assist in the designing process control systems based on DCS, ESD & FGS systems Skills / Experience In the detailed engineering phase of projects, particularly in handling packages, Contribute to the development of I&C design deliverables, including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Instrument Data Sheets. Work in the detailed engineering phase of projects, with a focus on handling packages. Assist in the design of process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA. Collaborate with client counterparts and vendors to interface control systems and new packages. Support risk assessments such as Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP). Prepare technical requisitions and conduct bid evaluations. Assist in the development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) and demonstrate working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511. Perform assigned automation-related job functions, including the creation of I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and the specification of instrumentation and control elements. Interface with Electrical systems and MCC. Experience in Brownfield onshore projects. Experience working with multiple centers. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Middle Eastern projects and familiarity with related work processes. NB.
