An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team in Eastbourne working across our homes as a multi-site Senior Support Worker. The homes specialise in person-centred care for people with learning difficulties and autism. Every day is different and you will be out and about attending social events, playing football and keeping active with the individuals. You may find yourself going bowling, or to the theatre, visiting a stately home or cathedral, and even going to a local pub for open mic night. Our current Multi-Site Senior Support Worker is truly passionate about their role, enjoying the unique opportunities they have to work across multiple sites. Their love for connecting with staff and service users in different homes enables them to build relationships and foster collaboration. By learning various support approaches and introducing new activities across different homes, they have helped to create a more cohesive and supportive environment. This dedication to bringing the homes closer together while finding joy in making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents really reflects the heart of support work. Their caring nature, combined with their enthusiasm for the job, is key to their success. We are looking for people who have experience of working in a similar environment. The working location and pattern of this role will be reactive to meet the changing needs of each service. You will be a great addition to the team if you enjoy working and interacting with people, have the right personality and share the same values as us. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, effective communicators, with high standards of care, and who are sensitive to the needs of people with learning disabilities. Working hours are 40 hours per week, on a rotational shift pattern. This will be a varied shift pattern including weekdays and weekends. You may be required to work sleep-in shifts, for which we pay £50 extra per night.
